I think it would be even better to stand firmly on the ground and vacuum out all the debris in the gutter, be it wet or dry, and even enjoy doing it. I had a great day using my new gutter cleaning tool called the Gutter Clutter Buster that I bought on-line, at their web-site. I believe its at www.GutterClutterBuster.com

Anyway, it cut my time in-half, was safer, and a much cleaner way to get those nasty gutters clean, without any ladders! Now my rain water has cleaner gutters to flow freely into my rain barrels. Won't mind cleaning the gutters sooner than later, cause its almost fun. My nephew wants to take the job away from me. LOL Stay safe, stay well, and "Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled!"
